Day three, our last day in Ho Chi Minh City, was so similar to our last day in Bangkok which the itinerary included seeing everything we missed the first two days. This blog post will be all about the photos, as you must see the beauty for yourself! Stop one was to the Cafe Apartment. This was one of the coolest experiences in a city I think I’ve ever done, and right up my alley. It was an apartment building turned into many different cafes, stores, and restaurants. We hopped and checked out each one, getting drinks and food at three different places. Our first stop we got coconut coffee, and it was actually one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. It had sugar coated coconut shavings on top of espresso with coconut milk. To die for, and with views of the city and such an aesthetic shop, it was everything you could have ever needed in a coffee shop.
Our second stop was for a pastry moment and trying some passion fruit tea. With actual passionfruit in the beverage, each sip was a perfect sweet with the crunch of the fruit to accompany the flavor. This shop was filled with plants, books, and a clean chic vibe that was exactly my go-to. Izzy and I praised this place, and enjoyed our time there. Our last stop was for some food, we ended up getting this teriyaki shredded mushroom with greens and rice. It was so tasty and filled us up perfectly as we continued on our tour of this city.
We walked out of the cafe apartment and into this boulevard to get a view of the apartments from the outside, and then we walked straight toward the city hall. It was so cool to compare and contrast HCMC to Bangkok. The main sites in Bangkok were ornate temples whereas Saigon was more about simple but gorgeous government buildings. For example, the city hall, the independence palace, and the post office. All of which we visited and admired, but completely different types of attraction.
We did a circle of the city, hitting the main spots, stopping at markets, both a food market to have fresh coconut water and a regular market to get matching bracelets.

To cap our sightseeing day off right, we went to a koi fish cafe. Not like we needed any more caffeine, the restaurant was worth the stop. A jungle type vibe with water surrounding our table and koi fish swimming nearby. We enjoyed our time, spending a few hours next to the fish.
Having a late flight, we headed back to our hotel, getting one last banh mi from our favorite place, and onto the next city we go, Hoi An!!
